Catching UP With Anadel

Anadel fell asleep one evening, (which is very rare) before bedtime reading the Oriental Trading magazine we received in the mail. Must have been dreaming of all those party toys she wants Santa to bring her made in China. LOL!  Below are all her Halloween and Daily dress up pictures I have compiled on my iphone and need to share. There is rarely a day that goes by when she doesn't run into her room and close the door and come out all dolled up telling me to take a picture of her. Some of the outfits are amazingly coordinated too. We nick named her the Rich Old Lady since she always has a hand bag of some kind with change in it and hat to go with it.

While at a Relief Society Presidency meeting I had the other day, she snuck into my purse and pulled out my credit cards and put them into another ladies' purse. We went to the store after to buy groceries and I was shocked when I opened my walled and all my cards were missing. Thankfully they bagged the groceries up and put them in the back of the store till Ben could pick them up later and pay for them. Spent the rest of the day tracking my cards down and thankfully the other sister found them while reaching in her bag and called me immediately. You have to keep an eye on this sneaky todler. Can't wait till she gets to attend Pre-school and has lots to do to keep her active mind and sneaky fingers busy :)! We love her so much and she has just grown so much lately in height and personality!!!!!!!

Grandma and Grandpa invited Anadel and I out to lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen one afternoon. (The picture Grandma took with my phone to remember how beautiful she was with her hair all done up.)

Anadel Turned 4 at Thanks Giving and we bought her some real pink cowgirl boots.

While on the way to Golden Hills Park, Anadel almost chopped off her little fingers in the car door.  She decided to make a bandage out of sticker labels Grandma Ro Ro gave her that were sitting in the back seat. Genius!!! :)

We find so much wildlife in our garden since we live close to a natural wetlands and several farms. 15 Wild turkeys, hawks, frogs, herring, and this turkey vulture are just to name a few. Our chickens are growing quick too and will be laying eggs soon. I will post pictures of them and the new large coop Ben built for them. We are eventually going to make chicken tunnels for them around the yard and put them to work fertilizing and preparing our raised garden beds for next years crop.

We took Anadel to see an amazing pre-school academy, that we were hoping to get her into next year. It has been a struggle with potty training her. She didn't want to leave the school campus and I told her that she could go there if she was potty trained. First thing she did when we come home was hop on her potty and has continued to go since. Hallelujah!!!! Every kid has their braking point, I guess. :)

Anadel strapped a bear in a head band one day to her forehead. We forgot to take it off at bed time and she woke up with is still on. Made me laugh so hard when she walked out of her room in the morning. I should name her Dances with Bears or something.

Our Babies Have Arrived

Did we tell you we were expecting? We picked up 4 beautiful baby girl chicks from the post office yesterday. Ava, Gwen, Dixie and Piper (who unfortunately didn't last the day ;( due to the cuddles of a curious 3 year old Anadel). They are so darling together and giving Anadel great amusement.

Peanut Butter Button Cookie and Fun Pictures of Anadel

These are the cookies we made as a family today after church. Peanut Butter Button Cookies with Twisler licorice strings.  We took a few to friends and Ben will be taking the rest to work so Anadel and I don't eat them all tomorrow. They were so yummy. :).

Dr. Anadel checking vital signs at the San Louis Obispo Childrens Museum (Mock ICU Unit).

Riding the train with Mommy, Daddy and Panda at the Nut Tree. She loves roller coasters too!

Valentines Day Turkey!

Happy Valentines Day! Anadel and I received a surprise visitor in our garden this morning.  Maybe it is a gift from our true love! LOL

Anadel and I have been busy working in the garden and crafting this Valentines Season. We made paper hearts with a 14 day countdown to Valentines and put them on our little Christmas tree, a paper heart wreath made from hearts we cut out from an old novel and a mobile that Anadel loves to swat at when she is eating at the table. We even found a use for our extra framed mirror that I turned it into a gift warp organizer. Made with inexpensive cafe curtain rods and baskets I found at Wal-mart .  Sure beats the $250 dollar gift wrap organizer I have wanted for so long from Pottery barn. I spent $27 dollars to make mine :).

We wish you all a lovely Valentines Day and hope you know how much we love you!

Our Busy Little Mouse

Our front door mouse house I made for Anadel, with a tiny welcome flag banner and door mat.

Our laundry room mouse house. Looks like this little mouse has been doing a bit of laundry today.  Makes Ben giggle each time he goes in the Laundry room.

Our beautiful laundry cabinets Ben put together for me for Christmas. Love doing laundry now and having extra storage/pantry space.

We are so thrilled that Anadel has enough long locks to put up in pig tails and barrettes.

Caught my little Anadel mouse eating sugar cookie gingerbread men off of the Christmas tree again. Looks like it is time to decorate the tree with hearts and Valentine cookies for my little mouse to munch! Our first Christmas in our house, we had a real little mouse visitor in our house who helped themselves to two of the cookies on the tree. Thankfully Ben has sealed up all the open holes and fixed the door frames so that the only cookie eating mouse in the house is our Anadel.

Yay We Did It!!!! Yay for Sunday Miracles!

(Anadel all dolled up before her cousin Aiden's Baptism this last Saturday.)
At the close of a quiet but busy Sacrament meeting for Anadel yesterday, she yelled out, "YAY... WE DID IT!" It was a Sunday miracle!!! This was the first Sunday in years that Ben and I didn't have to take Anadel out into the hall screaming. Anadel is a Sunbeam now and sings louder than any other child in primary. One of 15 Sunbeams, she is quite the dramatic performer. Each week when church ends, she rushes to the nearest piano and begins playing and singing as loud as she can.

Ben has been asked to teach a little boy in our ward to play the piano. I am sure Anadel's love for the piano will increase as she watches her daddy teach this little boy. Ben tries to play primary songs each night for Anadel. We dance around the room and sing them together which is turning into a fun family bedtime tradition.
Anadel has mastered mommy and daddy's iphones. She can navigate all her kid apps. and movies without help. She calls them her "gimme games."

Anadel focusing on the perfect dive into her little pool. The other thing she loves more than her "gimme games," singing and playing piano, is swimming.

Painted our living room wall

Painted our living room wall yesterday with leaves and branches, then added a vinyl word quote I found at target.

Quote says:
"May our home be filled with laughter, family and friends and the life togetherness brings."

Still trying to decide if I want to paint in little animals ( like small birds or a mouse in the corner by the piano like Mousey Thompson would). What do you think, does it need anything else?
