Painted our living room wall

Painted our living room wall yesterday with leaves and branches, then added a vinyl word quote I found at target.

Quote says:
"May our home be filled with laughter, family and friends and the life togetherness brings."

Still trying to decide if I want to paint in little animals ( like small birds or a mouse in the corner by the piano like Mousey Thompson would). What do you think, does it need anything else?

Anadel's New Princess Room

Anadel's new Puppet Theater, Corner General Store and Post Office - Birthday Gift from Grandma Ro Ro. She gives us theatrical puppet shows each night before bed. Her Auntie Laurie gave her a cash register and grocery food w/basket for her birthday and she plays with that non stop in here too. She is really good at scanning the grocery items bar code and swiping the plastic credit card. She yells, "Approved" each time she scans the card like a pro and then asks for the play money from mommy and daddy when done!
Here is her new reading corner and art gallery. This kid can read and draw non-stop!
We took out all the baby furniture and now she has room for a drawing tea party table and much more. She spends hours in her room now, which is so much nicer for her mommy who doesn't have to cart so many toys back from the family room each night. :)
Anadel playing tea party with the monkey and giraffe. Ben and I received them from his siblings for our wedding over 4 years ago. Quite the room for a little princess now!

Catch Up! Happy Holidays!

Once again I am trying to catch up on our blog! Happy Holidays Everyone!!!:) We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and went to Claim Jumper for a no mess dinner. There were 13 of us, minus my brother John and his family.

The rest of the week we spent celebrating Anadel's 3rd Birthday and putting up our Christmas decorations. We re-decorated Anadel's room and cleaned out the baby things (will post pictures soon.) We also re-painted and decorate the bathroom and our hallway (which it no longer a weird peach color and blends better with the other walls that get natural light.) It has been a very productive two weeks. We are Happy with all our inexpensive transformations and have so much to be thankful for!!! Love to you all and Merry Christmas!

Our Bathroom Transformation!

Picture Taken Just Before We Move In To Our House. Ben Had To Add Toilet, Fixtures and New Vinyl Flooring.
Painted Our Walls Chocolate Brown. Anadel licked Her Lips As We Painted and Said,"Yummm Chocolate." We are very happy with the cozy yummy color! :)

Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me! And Really Bad Eggs! :)

Anadel picked her costume this year. She just loves hats, so of course she wanted a costume with the largest hat she can parade around in. :) Happy Halloween everyone!

Ben just received word that he can switch contract companies within the refinery and will be able to get a pay raise now. What a blessing, so grateful to the Lord for answered prayers and paying our tithing! :)

One Busy but Happy Family!!!!

Wow, where does the time go. I am sooo behind on all our family blogs, but have lots of fun things that have been keeping me busy. We have been so busy fixing up our new little green cottage house, I can't believe it has been a year already since we moved in. I will have to take some update pictures to show all the blood and sweat that we have put into our cute house.

We love our new ward here and have some really nice neighbors too. Ben is getting ready to go do his Masters Program at Saint Mary's College and has been busy studying up to take the test to get in to the program, along with work and his three callings at church (Scout Com. Chair, Elders Quorum Teacher and Pianist for the Choir). We are so proud of how hard he works for our little family! Anadel stays soooo busy as well and keeps her mommy laughing everyday! Such a sweet little child and doesn't slow down for a nap. I was called to be a counselor in our Relief Society in our ward and I am loving it. I get to manage the R.S. blog and newsletter each week as well and it is soooo much fun. We are happy, healthy and love our little quiet busy life together!
