Ben was offered a raise and higher position in the company so we took it and sold our little tiny 1950's fixer-upper in California (in March) for a brand new home in Utah with 4 bedroom 4 bathrooms and a walk out unfinished basement.
The community is master planned and voted 1# community to live with it's energy efficient homes. With amazing lakes, views and cool parks with zip lines, splash pads, rope climbing gyms and river water pools. We have use of the free boats and the daybreak gym as well. It has been truly a blessing for us and our ward is amazing.
Our ward takes in a 3 block radius and will be dividing soon because we are getting to big for the chapel. They had to bless the sacrament twice on Sunday because there weren't enough sacrament trays to go around.
Our back porches and master bedroom have spectacular views too. You can see the mountain range and valley from Salt Lake City to the Draper Temple. 4th of July was quite a site this year as we watched the entire valley setting off fireworks from our back porch.

Bottom deck we will be adding a bed swing for fun and lot of outdoor lights under the deck.
Great room couch area with fireplace. Like our fun horse head on the wall above the TV. He needs a scarf or wreath around his neck I think. :)
Took a family trip to one of my favorite places in Utah. Thanks Giving Point Farm. Anadel loved this white horse with ghostly beautiful blue eyes and even named her Sweetness. We are thinking of putting her in horseback riding lessons, since she loves being a little cowgirl and riding ponies so much.
