Anadel's Adventures

Anadel’s Adventures,

We took Anadel to the park to ride the train at Tilden. (Near Berkeley)

She made friends with little Chinese girls in front of us.

She loves apple sauce, and her bottle.

She crawls everywhere, stands, and chews on everything -even our coffee table. And likes to kiss our dishwasher. Don’t know why?

She goes for rides in the bike buggy and falls asleep.

Caught her on the console table reading a pilates book the other day. And man... she sure is clever.

She shakes her head and says no. Plus she even say duck, mama, dada, and no.

She’s pretty dangerous. And she knows when the bully in Veggie tales is being bad and she shakes her head at him.

The Computer Tech!

From Anadel Computer Tech

Anadel's is getting over her cold!

We'll Anadel is finally getting over her cold. Been sick with a slight cough, and lots of mucus. She's coming back to life. She's been not stop Veggie Tales on the TV. She love music, dancing, or rather beating her feet to the music. She lies on the floor and taps her feet as she braces her chin on her hands -much resembling a little teenager watching a movie.

She's loves flowers, doggies, kids, veggie tales, music, and tickling mommy and daddy's feet while they sit on the couch.

We bought a gate the other day to keep her from crawling down the stairs. And she's says DADDA DADA DADA all the time now. I'm trying to teach her to say it when I ask her who's her favorite.

My recent pictures show Anadel's part-time job... a computer hardware technician. LOL

The magical world of "Nanadel" London

Going on 9 months, our little Nanadel is growing so quickly. Now in 18 month outfits and growing vertically like a weed, it is hard to keep the child from outgrowing each outfit. By the time she has warn them 2 -3 times her cloths look like they have shrunk. Someone must have given her some magic beans or maybe it is in the little star vegetable Gerber puffs she adores so much.
She now has two teeth on the bottom and two on the top and they are quite the set of chompers. She paid dearly in pain and sleepless nights these past few weeks to get those teeth. Looks like she might get the Riley gap too. Well, at least she won't need braces and can be the entertainment in the pool for the other children who are not lucky enough to have a fountain spout between their teeth.

Ben and I love her humor. We went shopping the other night and she couldn't stop laughing as we went down the frozen food isle. I have no idea what sparked such laughter but it happens quite often with her. Recently she has learned to cross two of her fingers on her right hand and when she gets excited she will cross them and flap her harms like a little birdy. She also claps her hands when she is trying to tell us that she is done with something. Can you believe it, she has come up with her own sign language in order to communicate with us. She has also mastered crawling now and looks like a powerful Olympic swimmer doing free style around the room. She moves really quick too and it only intensifies when she is heading towards something we have told her she can't have. She is quite a determined little girl!!!

The Sunday Update

Hi Family,

Our iMac has been the shop this last week. Excited to get that back. Been using our labtop to do things.

Work has keep me busy and between Anadel teething and getting up in shifts to take care of her. Rachel and I were exhausted by the end of the week. Fortunately Saturday and Sunday have given us a good chance to catch up on sleep, rest, and time for aarons and fun!
We just signed up for Netflick. It's great we get a movie in the mail and send it back the next day. We can go through 2 movies a week at this rate.

Speaking of TV... Anadel goes crazy when the children's DVD of Veggie Tales is played on our speaker system. She loves it... and starts clapping her hands and shrieking for joy! No joke. She loves it!

We just recently bought some bikes and a trailer to take our little girl around town in. We were able to find some on sale at a near by sporting goods store and the clerk even gave us some 25% off coupons -Thanks! Anadel ... wasn't sure what to think of riding in a bicycle trailer... although she definitely loves car rides and snuggling on daddy!

Last night I was so tired I just took Anadel to bed with me, just so I could lay down and rest. She liked cuddling with Daddy! Of course I tend to spoil her. Which ... most of the time is fine.

Today, we let her gnaw on a pop-sicle ... coconut flavored. She loveeed it! Of course she sure got coconut pop-sicle everywhere.

Otherwise.. Rachel is busy taking care of Anadel all day. There's probably 10-15 couples with kids that attend church with us on Sunday -in our complex that is. And Rachel takes little "Nana-Dell" out to play with the kids. "Nana-Dell" as the little two year old Jack Jack calls her. There's a swing and playground equipment in the backyard of the complex right next to us.

My life has been commuting in the morning leaving around 6-7AM. Meeting new people at work. Getting acquainted with a new campus that I work at. With several large buildings. And taking care of Video teleconferences for executives at work.

We're doing much better living in a 2 bedroom place with a dish washer! It's heaven in contrast. Plus its so much quieter and the neighborhood is so much more family friendly! Which makes Rachel's life incredibly different.

Love you all, stay in touch.

We have finally settled into are new little home in Martinez. It is a dream come true to have more room and a place for baby to have her own space as well. No more Harry Potter closet for Anadel. With many LDS families on our street we are surrounded by wonderful little families with children she can play with and that Ben and I can hang out with. Ben has already been out playing tennis with our neighbors. We also purchased some bikes and a buggy to go for rides as a family.
